I have it low so I can hear my exhaust note, but yeah, I'm a 22 year old who enjoys jazz. I'm far from knowledgeable about it, but it's pleasant to my ears.

EDIT: the Nascar was already preset, before someone makes a comment about it. I have to confess, I don't watch much auto racing at all, but if it's on I'll watch ALMS or F1. I used to DVR WRC but I don't know if Velocity still has that.

There's a chance I'm not really young anymore (32), but I do enjoy jazz.. and classical music as well. I guess I like both jazz and classical music because I'm a huge metal head though..

Similarly, Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands and alot of that has to do with the jazz aspect of their music.

I like classical too, Beethoven was my favorite when I was little. My grandfather listened to both and I idolized him when I was little so that's probably where my appreciation for jazz and classical music comes from.

I grew up with Deep Purple, Led Zep, Rolling Stones and all that ja.. uh stuff.. So how got into jazz is anyones guess I uhh guess.

When it comes to classical music I'm a sucker for Händel, Brahms, Haydn, Tchaikovsky and of course Grieg.. As for Jazz, I don't know that many names, but Miles Davis and Horace Silver are amongst the ones that comes to mind as well as Esbjörn Svensson Trio.

And we've got this insane metaljazz/jazzmetal band called Shining...

I don't know many names in either genre, but I like both. I like big band too, that's something I definitely picked up from him.

On the other hand, I listen to grunge, alternative, classic rock, rap, occasionally metal (BTBAM), so go figure.

I don't even know what the "typical young person" is. I myself am 22 as well, but my interests are so broad and off the beaten path that I don't really know what the typical young person is supposed to like.

I'm a big classical fan, and I'll dabble in Jazz since the only classical station in the area is half Jazz, but I admit I don't know anything about it... I just like hearing it. Also the Vince Guaraldi 'Charlie Brown Christmas' soundtrack is my favorite Christmas music :P
